Greg Hoosier Biography
A lifetime wanderer, Greg explores the outdoors by bicycle, kayak, and canoe, painting plein air landscapes. Some of these he works into larger oils in the studio.
Greg’s portraits and portrait murals promote ordinary citizens as the true ‘wealth of nations.’ Travel and work have taken him across North America, Europe, West Africa, South and Southeast Asia, sketching and painting along the way.
After experimenting with many approaches and mediums, Greg now works mostly from a classical tradition.
